Subban capitalized on a weak clearance by the Blues just 2:12 into the game. He also set up Nico Hischier's go-ahead goal in the third period. Subban had been held off the scoresheet in his previous eight games, and he hadn't posted a multi-point effort since Nov. 9. The defenseman has three goals, 17 points, 76 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating in 45 outings overall while playing in a second-pairing role lately.
