Tatar won't return to Friday's tilt against Detroit because of a lower-body injury.
Tatar logged just 3:04 of ice time Friday, though he did register an assist before departing, which brings him up to nine points (three goals) through 26 appearances in 2024-25. If he can't play Saturday versus Washington, then Shane Bowers will probably draw back into the lineup.
