Groulx was demoted to AHL San Diego on Friday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
With the Ducks off until Monday, Groulx's reassignment will allow him to suit up for the Gulls, who will be in action Friday and Saturday versus the Barracuda. Despite being a healthy scratch in Anaheim's prior three contests, he should be atop the list of potential call-ups ahead of Monday's clash with Nashville.
