Gibson surrendered five goals on 36 shots in a 5-2 loss to Colorado on Wednesday.
The Avalanche struck for five straight goals to turn a 1-0 Anaheim lead into an easy Colorado victory. It was the third consecutive loss for Gibson, who yielded more than three goals in a start for just the second time in his last 10 outings. The 28-year-old fell to 9-5-0 on the year with a 2.53 GAA and .920 save percentage. Gibson and the Ducks will host Ottawa on Friday.
