Getzlaf recorded a power-play assist, four shots on goal and three hits in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Jets.

The veteran center earned the secondary assist on Rickard Rakell's third-period goal after setting up Jamie Drysdale for the shot. Getzlaf posted a career-low 17 points in 48 games last season, the first time he's registered under 0.5 points per game in his career. The 36-year-old's best years are very clearly behind him, but he'll at least start 2021-22 in a top-six role with power-play time, and he remains an effective physical presence.
