Carrick was recalled to Anaheim on Sunday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
The forward was one of three minor-leaguers called up to the big club after the elimination of AHL San Diego on Saturday. The center hasn't played in an NHL game all season, and it seems unlikely that he will slot into playoff action unless it's an absolutely dire circumstance for the Ducks.
