Bahl (lower body) will not participate in either of Calgary's split-squad games against Edmonton.
Bahl played in all 82 regular-season games last year for the Devils, registering one goal on 63 shots, 10 assists and 151 hits. The 24-year-old blueliner still has plenty of time to get back to 100 percent ahead of Opening Night versus Vancouver on Oct. 9. Even if he is available for all 82 games this year, fantasy managers probably shouldn't be banking on a lot of offensive output from the shutdown defenseman.
