Monahan helped out on a Johnny Gaudreau tally in the second period, which tied the game at 2-2. The 27-year-old Monahan continues to be dependent on power-play production for his offense. Nine of his 14 points have come with the man advantage this season. He's added 44 shots on net, 10 PIM, a minus-10 rating and 25 hits in 29 contests.
