Mayhew was designated for the Flyers' taxi squad Thursday.

Mayhew appeared in one NHL contest this season, against the Kraken, where he logged 9:26 of ice time. With AHL Lehigh Valley, the 28-year-old has recorded nine goals and seven assists through 24 contests.
