Flyers' Michal Neuvirth: Back in pads

Neuvirth (concussion) joined his teammates on the ice for training camp sessions Friday, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

With Steve Mason gone, Neuvirth should have the inside track to be the No. 1 between the pipes for the Flyers; however, if he stumbles, Brian Elliott could steal the job away from him. The 29-year-old Neuvirth hasn't logged more than 35 games in a season since 2011-12 when he was with Washington, so once again adjusting to a full load could take some time.
