Tuomaala is day-to-day after being banged up during the 2024 Rookie Series, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia on Monday.
Tuomaala didn't practice Sunday and Monday due to an undisclosed injury. The 21-year-old forward generated 15 goals and 43 points in 69 regular-season contests for AHL Lehigh Valley in 2023-24. He still could be available to participate in Philadelphia's training camp before likely starting the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.
