Dadonov has entered the league's COVID-19 protocols and will miss Tuesday's clash with the Lightning.
Dadonov has been underwhelming of late, going pointless in six of his last seven contests while also registering just 12 shots on net over that stretch. The 32-year-old winger was on track to continue filling a first-line spot if Mark Stone (undisclosed) missed out again but instead Reilly Smith or Jonathan Marchessault could take on that role.
