Samsonov will attempt to rebound this season after a challenging 2023-24 campaign with Toronto in which he posted a 23-7-8 record, 3.13 GAA and .890 save percentage across 40 regular-season appearances. He's projected to start the campaign as Vegas' No. 2 goaltender behind Adin Hill, though Samsonov has some competition from Akira Schmid for the backup gig.
