Eichel (neck) is expected to be ready to play either Wednesday or Friday versus Colorado or Los Angeles, respectively, Greg Wyshynski of ESPN.com reports.
Before Eichel can get onto the ice, the Knights will have to do some cap gymnastics, which could include placing Mark Stone (back) on long-term IR. Once given the green light, the 25-year-old center figures to immediately slot into both the top line and No. 1 power-play unit.
