Pacioretty (undisclosed) suffered a setback at Thursday's morning skate and won't be available "in the near future," per coach Pete DeBoer, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Almost everything that could go wrong has for the Golden Knights in recent weeks, and this setback to one of the team's first-line wingers is the latest example of that. Pacioretty will remain sidelined along with Mark Stone (back), Reilly Smith (knee) and Robin Lehner (lower body), among others, for a Vegas team that has dropped out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference and appears set to free-fall further.
