Duke missed Friday's practice due to an undisclosed injury that he originally sustained in a rookie game two days prior, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports, adding that the center has no timetable for his return.

The 21-year-old may actually be a recognizable name associated with the nascent franchise, as Duke became the first Golden Knight to sign a contract -- he earned a three-year, entry-level deal in early March and rounded out 2016-17 with 71 points in 59 regular-season games for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL. Even if he takes awhile to recover, Vegas should give him ample chances to prove his worth.
