Whitecloud set up Jonathan Marchessault for the opening tally at 6:56 of the first period. The 25-year-old Whitecloud isn't a regular presence on the scoresheet for the Golden Knights. The defenseman has five tallies, two assists, 34 shots, 44 blocks, 30 hits and a plus-8 rating through 19 contests.
