Whitecloud scored two goals, logged three hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
Whitecloud played 20:48 in his return from a lower-body injury, showing absolutely no rust after a 12-game absence. The defenseman had two goals in his entire career before doubling that total to pace the Golden Knights' offense. He's up to three points, 10 shots on net, 13 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in five contests this year. Overall, he's more of a physical blueliner, but at 24 years old, his offense still has some room to grow.
