McGinn (upper body) will return to action Thursday against the Bruins.

When asked about McGinn returning to the lineup Thursday, head coach Bill Peters told reporters: "We tried to get him a little healthier than he is. He's not going to get to 100 percent from now to the end of the year, but he should be closer. It's as much time as we can afford to give him right now." It sounds like McGinn may be dealing with a nagging injury for the rest of the season, but the Hurricanes are confident his contributions as a strong forechecker and penalty-killing specialist are more important to the team than him being fully healthy. Either way, McGinn's status shouldn't be of much concern to fantasy owners; the 22-year-old winger has failed to tally a single point while averaging just 9:41 of ice time over six games this season.
