Hurricanes' Jason Cotton: Hits waivers

Cotton was waived by Carolina on Tuesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.

Cotton has spent the majority of the season with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, picking up six points in 17 games. The 26-year-old forward shouldn't be expected to make an impact at the NHL level anytime soon.
