Hurricanes' Keegan Lowe: Earns two-year, two-way deal

The Hurricanes agreed to terms with Lowe on a one-year, two-way contract Thursday. He will make $750,000 at the NHL level, or $80,000 with AHL Charlotte, in 2016-17.

Lowe appeared in 67 games with the Checkers in 2015-16, delivering three goals, 11 assists and 75 PIM. With a new two-way deal in hand, expect the former third-round draft pick to continue shuttling about the organizational ranks.
