Carolina acquired Inamoto and Max Domi (foot) in a three-team trade with Florida and Columbus on Monday. The team traded Yegor Korshkov and Aidan Hreschuk.
Inamoto has two assists through 26 games during his senior year at the University of Wisconsin. The 22-year-old blueliner was a fifth-round pick during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
