Carrier probably wouldn't have played in this game even if healthy when you consider Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis -- the Canes' first line -- are all also skipping this one. Still, the longer Carrier is out due to his lower-body issue, the more concerning it becomes regarding his availability for Opening Night against the Lightning on Oct. 11.
