Clutterbuck (upper body) is day-to-day after sustaining an injury in the second period of Tuesday night's game against the Flyers, Brian Heyman of Newsday reports.
Clutterbuck is an integral piece of the Islanders vaunted fourth line alongside Casey Cizikas and Matt Martin. Clutterbuck is a key piece of the team's penalty kill unit and it's unclear as to the extent of his injury. With no games until Saturday, the heavy hitter should have plenty of time to heal. He has six goals and eight points in 28 games with 125 hits, good for third in the NHL.
