Sorokin stopped 26 of 27 shots in Monday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.
Sorokin was able to limit the damage to a Travis Konecny goal late in the second period. The 26-year-old Sorokin is now on a three-game winning streak, having allowed just five goals in that span. The Russian netminder improved to 10-7-5 with a 2.37 GAA and a .927 save percentage in 22 appearances. Semyon Varlamov will likely tend the twine in Tuesday's rematch with the Flyers, but another back-to-back Friday and Saturday should allow Sorokin to draw another start soon.
