Kuhlman agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Wednesday.
Kuhlman recorded three goals, seven points, 41 hits and 18 blocks in 47 games between Seattle and Winnipeg last season. Although the 27-year-old forward is a veteran of 147 career NHL contests, it wouldn't be surprising if he started the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.
