Komarov was promoted from the taxi squad Monday, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.
Komarov sat out Sunday's loss to the Flyers, opening the door for Dmytro Timashov to enter the lineup. Timashov was benched in the game, so it looks like Komarov should have an opportunity to earn his spot back in Tuesday's matchup against the Sabres.
