Tsyplakov (lower body) was held out late in the third period of Friday's preseason game versus the Devils for precautionary reasons, Ethan Sears of the New York Post reports.
Tsyplakov was tripped earlier in the game and was likely having his minutes managed after that. The 26-year-old's injury is probably minor given the precautionary label. He'll be day-to-day ahead of Monday's game versus the Flyers.
