Islanders' Richard Panik: Officially dropped to AHL

Panik was reassigned to AHL Bridgeport on Monday.

Panik originally stayed up with the team after clearing waivers but had not been reassigned to the minor-league club. The 30-year-old winger should be atop the list of potential call-ups throughout the upcoming campaign should the need arise.
