Varlamov made 20 saves Saturday in a 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.

The first two went five-hole -- Mitch Marner slid the puck through on a shorthanded breakaway at 13:25 of the first and Pierre Engvall backhanded it between Varlamov's pads with 0.4 seconds left in the same period. Morgan Rielly beat him short side from he bottom of the right circle at the 9:42 mark of the second. Varlamov is 1-2-0 in his last three starts with seven goals allowed.
