The Jets recalled Gustafsson from the taxi squad and placed him on their active roster Saturday.
Despite being promoted to the active roster, Gustafsson isn't expected to be in the lineup for Saturday night's matchup with Ottawa. The 20-year-old pivot potted one goal in 22 appearances with Winnipeg last season.
