Toninato will be promoted from AHL Manitoba and jump into the lineup for Thursday's regular-season finale versus Colorado, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
Toninato should slot into a bottom-six role against the Avalanche. The 29-year-old winger has picked up one assist through four NHL appearances this year.
