Trouba (upper body) will miss Thursday's matchup with Los Angeles but may be available Friday against Anaheim, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Trouba will miss his fifth straight outing due to the upper-body ailment; he's just one of four Jets blueliners out of the lineup. Although Winnipeg has not been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, the Jets would need to be nearly perfect in their final nine games, which would be difficult even with their full complement of defensemen. When healthy, the 23-year-old has averaged just under 25 minutes per game, including 1:40 on the power play, so he's seen plenty of opportunities to generate offense. In fact, he's done so at the highest rate of his career (.52 points per game).
