Reichel was sent down to AHL Manitoba on Tuesday.
Reichel logged a mere 4:27 of ice time in his only appearance of the season for Winnipeg and figures to remain a fringe roster player the rest of the year. If he does get into the lineup coming out of the NHL's Christmas break, the 23-year-old center figure to fill a fourth-line role and will offer very little fantasy value.
