Ehlers scored a goal on six shots and added two hits in Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Oilers.
Ehlers tallied at 13:57 of the third period on a drop pass from Mark Scheifele, but Connor McDavid equalized for the Oilers 28 seconds later. The 25-year-old Ehlers is riding a four-game point streak with two goals and two helpers in that span. He's seen top-line duties lately in place of the struggling Blake Wheeler. Ehlers has five goals, 12 points, 59 shots on net and a plus-6 rating in 16 contests.
