Kempe tallied at 9:36 of the third period to put the Kings ahead, and Garret Sparks made it stand for a win. The 25-year-old Kempe had gone without a point in his previous four contests. The Swede is up to 12 tallies, five assists, 87 shots on net, 42 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 30 appearances this season.
