Lemieux was offered an in-person hearing for biting Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk on Saturday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
An in-person hearing means Lemieux could be suspended six games or more for biting the Ottawa forward. NHL Player Safety has yet to announce when the hearing will take place.
