Petersen made 30 saves in a 4-2 win over Ottawa on Saturday.
The team was desperate for a win and Petersen delivered. He didn't have a chance on the first goal, which deflected off one of his own players' sticks and in. The second was a quick wrister from the right circle that he couldn't get his glove on. The Kings had gone 0-3-2 in their last six, so this win couldn't come at a better time.
