Petersen flipped the script on the Sharks, who had a shutout in his last appearance Saturday. This was the 27-year-old's fourth career shutout, three of which have come this season. He's up to 17-9-1 with a 2.60 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 28 appearances. The Kings have a quick one-game road trip to Vegas on Saturday before returning home Tuesday versus the Predators. Neither Petersen nor Jonathan Quick has started more than three games in a row since around New Year's.
