Petersen gave up six goals on 38 shots in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Kraken.
The 27-year-old had no trouble with the Kraken in a 4-2 win Saturday, but he struggled mightily from the start of Monday's rematch. Petersen is now 18-11-1 with a 2.74 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 31 outings this season. He's alternated wins and losses in his last six starts, and head coach Todd McLellan has switched to Jonathan Quick for the next game after each of Petersen's losses in that span.
