Allard will be recalled from AHL Ontario on Sunday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Allard has one assist and eight PIM through five AHL games this season. He's expected to serve as the extra defenseman for Sunday's tilt with Ottawa.
