Quick was the winner in a 3-2 overtime game Saturday against Chicago. He made 25 saves.
Quick has been super sharp since his return, allowing more than two goals just twice in his 16 starts. Still, he was unable to carry his Kings to the postseason, as they just stopped scoring as the season dragged on. Quick will be as good as gold come October.
