Daccord is slated to start in Friday's preseason home game against Vancouver, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.
Daccord surrendered two goals on 19 shots across two periods in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Vancouver. Both of the goals he surrendered occurred on the power play. He posted a 19-18-11 record, 2.46 GAA and .916 save percentage in 50 contests with Seattle in 2023-24. His strong play gave him an edge over Philipp Grubauer last season, but they are both expected to get plenty of opportunities in 2024-25.
