Per Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic, Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate, indicating he'll start between the pipes in Wednesday's home game versus Carolina.
Grubauer was sharp in his last start Sunday against the Capitals, stopping 37 of 39 shots en route to a 5-2 victory. The 29-year-old backstop will attempt to secure a second straight win in a tough home matchup with a Hurricanes squad that's 8-1-1 on the road this year.
