Sabourin was put on waivers Sunday with the intent to assign him to AHL Syracuse.
Sabourin collected 10 goals, 25 points and 111 PIM across 68 regular-season games with AHL San Jose in 2024-25. After signing a one-year, two-way deal with Tampa Bay in the summer, he will likely be in the minors for the majority of the 2025-26 campaign.
