Weissbach signed a two-year contract with Frolunda HC in the SHL on Saturday.
Weissbach, a seventh-round pick of the Sabres in 2017, tallied 16 goals and 33 points in 55 regular-season contests with AHL Rochester in 2023-24. At 26 years old, it seems unlikely that Weissbach would return to play in North America.
