Maple Leafs' Joey Anderson: Added to NHL roster

The Maple Leafs recalled Anderson from AHL Toronto and added him to their active roster Thursday, CapFriendly reports.

Joe Thornton (upper body) and Nick Robertson (knee) are both currently on the shelf, so Anderson will be on hand as a depth option for the big club for the foreseeable future. The 22-year-old winger notched six points in 18 games with the Devils last campaign.
