The Maple Leafs added Hutchinson to the taxi squad Wednesday.
The 31-year-old will serve as an emergency option in case COVID-19 continues to affect the Maple Leafs' goaltenders. Hutchinson has made two appearances for Toronto this season and has allowed six goals on 42 shots.
