Marner (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision versus Montreal on Wednesday, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic Toronto reports.

Marner was on the ice for the team's optional morning skate, so it would appear he is trending in the right direction. In five NHL seasons, the 24-year-old Ontario native has never missed the 60-point threshold and should be capable of far exceeding that mark with a full 82-game campaign. If Marner does miss out Wednesday, William Nylander or Pierre Engvall would likely be elevated to a first-line role.
