Kase was absolutely trucked by Nikita Zadorov in the first period, with his helmet coming off on the hit. The 26-year-old Kase has a long history of head injuries, so it's not surprising to see the Maple Leafs take a cautious approach this time. His status should be updated prior to Saturday's game versus the Canucks.
